1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Automatic LFG, you agree to these Terms of Service. How the bot handles your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You need a Discord account to use the bot, and you must meet Discord's own minimum age requirement, which is 13 or higher depending on your country. You must also comply with Discord's Terms of Service.

3. The Service

Automatic LFG automates group formation in Looking For Group channels. Posting in a channel that an administrator has configured adds you to that channel's queue, and you can leave it at any time using the button provided. The bot is provided free of charge. Its features may change, and it may be interrupted or discontinued at any time.

4. Prohibited Actions

You shall not:

  • Use the bot to spam or flood messages.
  • Engage in any activity that disrupts or harms the bot, other users, or the Discord platform.
  • Attempt to exploit or bypass the bot's intended functions.

5. Server Administrators

Administrators decide whether to add the bot and which channels it operates in, and are responsible for that configuration and for informing their members that the bot is in use.

6. Suspension

We may restrict or end your access to the bot if you breach these terms or use the bot in a way that harms others.

7. No Warranty

The bot is provided "as is" and without warranty. We do not guarantee that it will be available, uninterrupted or free of errors, nor that any group will be formed.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect or unforeseeable loss arising from your use of the bot, nor for failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including technical failures affecting Discord or the hosting infrastructure. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury, fraud, or gross negligence, and nothing affects the statutory rights of consumers.

9. Modifications to Terms

These Terms of Service may be updated from time to time. The "Last Updated" date will reflect the most recent changes. Continued use of the bot indicates acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by French law, and the courts of France have jurisdiction. If you use the bot as a consumer resident elsewhere in the European Union, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings before the courts there.
